We are getting close to those last precious few episodes left of Supergirl! Many of you may have caught the cast all reminiscing about the show at DC Fandome. Check out our forum if you haven't seen it. Our hope is that there might be a longer version of it on future DVD/Bluray sets. Additionally Melissa has been doing the talk show circuit promoting the show's end and her new book. Turns out six years of flying can take it's toll. Looking ahead to episode 17 of the final season, "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" we have brand new images from the episode. Never understood why they release those on the day of a new episode but we can't complain, check them out below:

And yes the lack of Kara and Alex ever since Kara returned is intensely disappointing. The writers keep saying they are the heart of the show and that they consider them the most interesting relationship and then they completely ignore them. They basically take the one thing everybody agrees is great and treat it like dirt rather than making use of their most valuable asset. This is the end of the show. If anything could deliver gut wrenching emotional investment it would be Alex and Kara and yet the writers do nothing with it. So many storylines would have gained so much if Kara and Alex had shared more meaningful interaction. Instead Kara's storyline in particular feels hollow, but even Alex and Kelly's story could have benefitted if we had actually seen Alex reach out more to Kara (or J'onn) for relationship advice.
Let's be clear - I am not asking to be spoon fed anything -my baby years have long passed. I would like to start seeing an ending for Kara and I would like to see more sister dialogues. If it amuses you in anyway then by all means go for it. Seems like it doesn't take much to amuse you.
It’s amusing to me when people project so much and get mad from Synopsis and pictures. Haven’t we learned over the past six years that pictures and synopsis don’t tell the whole story.
.
Here’s hoping the last 4 episodes of Supergirl don’t become The Lex Luthor Show again.
