It wasn't long after running L Corp that Samantha started to experience memory lapses where her Kryptonian Worldkiller alter-ego took over. It was revealed that Sam was actually rocketed to Earth after a religious cult on Krypton created the Worldkiller. Her Worldkiller personality was supposed to take over when she matured but an early pregnancy delayed the takeover. Reign's powers are not derived from the Earth's yellow sun which makes her incredibly dangerous and more powerful than her Kryptonian counterparts!
